Institutions should have the means to ensure the adequacy of available learning support infrastructures and their suitability for specific courses offered.
The effectiveness of the learning process depends, in addition to teachers, and various supporting infrastructure, from the physical, such as libraries and IT infrastructure, to human support in the form of private education, counseling etc. All support facilities should be readily available to students, be designed according to their needs and adapted on the basis of the feedback from those who use the services.
Institutions should routinely monitor, review and improve the effectiveness of the support services available to students.
